MareaRock Festival se celebrara en Villajoyosa - Alicante
Leemos en MareaRock esta noticia que nos alegra; en estos tiempos en que los festivales parecen condenados a aparecer/desaparecer por exigencias de algunos gobernantes u otros intereses que van mas allá de lo musical:
“Que vueltas da la vida!!! El pasado viernes estábamos cerrando la edición del 2008 con un simbólico concierto en Madrid, y hoy ya podemos anunciar esto. En efecto, el Marearock Festival pasará a realizarse en la localidad alicantina de Villajoyosa, pueblo costero de unos 30.000 habitantes, pegado a Benidorm y a pocos kilómetros de Alicante ciudad. El festival se realizará en el “Recinto Ferial”, situado en el casco urbano, totalmente asfaltado, con su acampada a unos 100 metros del recinto, estacion de tren junto al recinto y lo mejor, la playa a 10 minutillos andando. Vamos, que nos hemos encontrado con el paraíso. El festival pasa a formar parte de un conjunto de actividades que el Ayuntamiento de Villajoyosa pondrá en marcha en esa segunda semana de agosto bajo el lema “Semana Joven”. Debido a que ya estamos entrando en Julio la mayoría de los grupos que formaban el cartel original del festival han adquirido otros compromisos, así que hemos bajado el numero de actuaciones, solo habrá un escenario y lo mejor de todo, es que solo costará 5 eurillos. El cartel lo encabeza el grupo mas fiestero que mestizo La Kinky Beat, el punk mas irónico lo pondrá desde Navarra, Lendakaris Muertos, desde alicante ciudad Konsumo Respeto, desde la provincia de Murcia, Discordia y Kante Pinreliko y ya como grupos locales, del mismo pueblo de Villajoyosa, Mala Pata, Traspies y Medikos sin Lizencia.”
