Entrevista a Kutxi Romero, Marea
Lijayterciopelo.com / En la memoria de muchos de los seguidores de Marea están presentes estas palabras que kutxi Romero publicada hace aproximadamente dos años largos y que decían; “Así que vamos a desaparecer de la escena una temporadilla. ¿Un año?, ¿Dos?, ¿Siete?. Ni puta idea. Las canciones que vayamos haciendo lo dirán. Os juro que si alguna vez logramos hacer otras diez u once canciones guapas grabaremos otro disco.” Palabras llenas de interrogantes que dieron rienda suelta a la especulación sobre el futuro de los de Berriozar.
Afortunadamente estas palabras han quedado solo en un mero recuerdo, tras la presentación de su quinto trabajo “Las Aceras estan llenas de Piojos” y el comienzo de la gira “Piojosos Tour 07”. Gira que comenzó el pasado mes de mayo en Atarfe (Granada) y que ya ha recorrido gran parte del estado, alegrando los corazones de los que se han dejado atrapar por “la marea de buen rockanrol” de Los Marea.

Tras un paro indefinido, volvéis con un nuevo disco y una gira a lo grande por España y Latinoamérica, ¿No habéis pensado en un regreso más pausado?
No, había sido dos años tocándonos los huevos y teníamos ganas de hacer algo bonito para la gente. Las entradas de los conciertos valen un dinero y la gente se merece que le des un espectáculo en condiciones. Y mas pausado para nada, ¡ahora arrasar!
¿Cómo va la gira?, ¿Os hace ilusión tocar en Latinoamérica?
La gira va estupenda, mejor de lo que nos pensábamos , porque ha sido mucho tiempo y no sabíamos si la gente nos esperaba con ganas. Con respecto a Latinoamérica estamos muy ilusionados después de haber conocido a “Renga” y a la “Vela Puerca” ya que hemos hecho una conexión de amistad sincera y tenemos mucha gana de ir allí y hay gente que nos esta esperando y bueno, vamos a intentar que nos puedan ver.
En las críticas de los primeros discos, se decía que Marea tenia un estilo similar a Extremoduro y en los dos últimos discos ya nadie se atreve a compararos ni con ellos, ni con ningún grupo, ¿Qué opinión te merece?
Lo pueden decir, a mi nunca me ha molestado, a mi me enorgullece y me sigue enorgulleciendo que me comparen con “Roberto Iniesta” porque me parece que si yo estoy es porque él ha estado y nunca me ha molestado en absoluto al revés ha sido un halago.
¿Ha cambiado mucho Marea con la producción del “Kolibrí”?
Bueno, ahora sonamos como suena “Marea”. Pues antes entrabas en el estudio y el técnico de sonido o el ingeniero te conoce menos, Cuando tu vas allí no sabe bien lo que quieres y se lo tienes que explicar, pero colibrí toca con nosotros y sabe exactamente lo que quiere y es mucho más sencillo y mucho mas agradecido el trabajar así.
¿Qué fue del libro que se anunciaba a principios de año?
Pues nada ahí esta, lo tengo acabado hace un año y medio (risas) y no se lo que voy a hacer con el, ahora estoy con la gira y ya veremos si lo edito o lo regalo en la Web o yo que se, algo haré. Pero bueno con tranquilidad.
¿Qué es lo que más valoras de tu profesión (aunque pienses que no eres un profesional)?
La libertad, la libertad para hacer lo que me de la gana y no tener jefe, ni horarios, ni disciplinas.
¿Crees que Marea podrá hacer una canción que pegue más fuerte en directo que el “Perro Verde”?
Pues no lo se (risas) a la gente es la que mas le gusta ¿no? Bueno me alegro que les guste, quizás se sienten identificados.
Una de las canciones de Marea que no has escrito es “ciudad de los gitanos“, ¿Qué tiene de especial ese poema para vosotros?
Por que tiene la misma vigencia ahora que hace 70 años que es cuando se escribió, y luego esta “viento del poniente” que es del cabrero, esa tampoco es mía, son dos letras con las que me siento muy identificado; y tiene una vigencia atemporal.
¿Por qué crees que Marea llega más al público joven?
Pues no se, no tengo ni idea, pero me alegro muchísimo, porque van a estar mas años siguiéndonos que si vinieran a vernos abuelos (risas).
¿Por qué tienes tantas colaboraciones? ¿Te gusta? ¿Te cuesta decir no?…
Porque me encanta, me encanta. Yo cuando he llamado a gente que me apetecían que colaboraran conmigo siempre me dijeron que si, entonces cuando a mi me llaman para colaborar siempre digo que si, si puedo.
¿Qué tal la experiencia de cantar en ingles en el tributo a “Motorhead”?
Me invente la letra, si el de “Motorhead” la oye se mea. No hice ni afán de aprenderme la original o sea me la invente directamente para que sonara como en ingles y ya esta.
¿volverías a cantar en ingles?
Si ¿por que no? Si es una canción que me gusta. Motorhead me gusta mucho, AC/DC también Aerostmit… pero me la volvería a inventar, no me la aprendería seguro.
De las canciones que has compuesto para otros grupos, ¿Cuál te ha hecho más ilusión?
Todas en general, el trompo quizás algo mas porque nunca nadie ajeno a Barricada había escrito para ellos y que fuera yo que podía ser su hijo y un niño de la calle, y tener el honor de que aceptaran esa letra para mi fue muy importante. El trompo quizás si pero porque son los barricada.
Hablando de Barricada, ¿Te imaginas 25 años encima del escenario como ellos?
No, no que va, para eso hay que ser un rokero de verdad, un superviviente nato, hay que tener muchas cualidades y yo creo que tengo muchísimas menos cualidades que los barricada, como para tener ese aguante. Barricada son realmente grandes yo solo soy un peón de albañil con suerte.
¿Crees que el Rock Estatal está en un buen momento?
Bueno mientras estemos bandas en activo y sigan saliendo grupos de jóvenes haciendo el rock urbano (por llamarlo de alguna manera) será un buen momento mientras quede uno. “Albertucho” yo creo que es tío que más me gusta de los últimos 10 años, me parece que hace unas canciones estupendas, “Poncho K” me encanta y “La Fuga” me gusta mucho, no se, me gusta todo el rock del estado, urbano o de la calle.
¿Haríais una gira en acústico como ha hecho La Fuga o ha hecho Barricada?
No, no porque no sabemos tocar muy bien, y para eso hay que tocar bien.
En vuestro caso la piratería, ¿Os ha perjudicado o en cambio os ha beneficiado?
Nos ha dado un poco igual mientras podamos seguir funcionando en directo y buscándonos la vida; creo que la música se hace para ser escuchada y si vale para ser difundida la piratería o como lo quieras llamar pues bienvenido sea.
Dices que eres muy vago y que no te ajustas a las disciplinas, ¿Cuándo estabas en el andamio también eras así? ¿Por eso cambiastes de profesión?
Claro, claro, precisamente por eso (risas); ahora como no tengo jefes, no tengo que dar explicaciones, pero eso mis jefes no lo entendían. Por eso no hice la mili, ni muchas cosas… Por pura vagancia.
¿Sueles estar pendiente de las criticas o te da igual todo lo que digan?
No, no nunca estoy pendiente de Internet, jamás en mi vida me he metido en un foro; bueno igual hace 10 años o así si que me metí en algún sito, pero nunca escribo en ningún foro, ni leo. Si me pasan alguna revista o estamos de gira y ha salido una revista, si que intentamos guardar todo lo que se escribe de nosotros. Pero no, ni de las muy buenas ni de las muy malas; tampoco es algo que me importe, yo creo que hago esto con mucho respeto, entonces yo se el respeto que le tengo al rock and roll no hace falta que me lo explique nadie.

pues es una lástima Kutxi que nunca te intereses por lo que la gente piensa de ti, de tu grupo, pues soys la ostia y me no me gusta esa modestia tuya, entiendo que sea tal, pero debes comprender que para la gente que te sigue y vive las canciones tanto como tu, no soys solo un grupillo de rock callejero, sinceramente, me ofende… y es que soys lo mas!
Adoro Extremduro, pero no creo, para nada, que Marea sea, sospechosamente, muy parecido a Extremo, quizas para la gente que no siente las canciones puede que si, pero para quien las siente, las distingue, y realmente es muy distinto. El estilo se parece, si, pero que no me digan que es lo mismo…
bueno pues nada Kutxi, que me encanta como eres!

Lo del parecido con extremoduro fue solo en los primeros discos. y Era porque el uoho (guitarrista de extremoduro)era su productor. En el 28000 puñaladas la cosa cambio

Estoy de acuerdo con lo del acústico,pues en el concierto de Sanlucar, en la canción de “Los mismos clavos” sacaron a uno a tocar que no dió una. Luego el kolibrí lo arregló, todo sea a dicho…enga un saludo pa tos y aver cuando sube la marea un poco pa’ Cordobita la llana.

kutxi y todo el grupo en general son unos profesionales en el campo,hacen su trabajo admirable y siempre,como acaba de demostrar,con mucha humildad.
En verdad soy un guitarrista de SKALABRAOS,un grupo de ska-rock que como seguidor suyo a versionado una de sus canciones mas miticas(la rueca)añadiendoles metales por doquier que le dan un toke diferente.SI ALGUIEN LEE ESTO,si siente curiosidad por conocernos podeis visitarnos en www.skalabraos.es.kz.

Bueno , sobre el tema que no le importan las opiniones, yo he tenido el placer de cruzarmelo en varias ocasiones, y hablar largo y tendido con el ( de puta madre y con humildad) y si que me a preguntado mi opinion sobre el disco, o sobre el concierto, en que q habia tocado hacia una hora..entonces verdaderamente si que le importan las opiniones pero , tambien en cierta ocasion me dijo..que el tema del foro y internet estan muy reticentes, ya tubieron problemas con el foro oficial de los marea y por eso lo chaparon!! Kutxi es todo pose, esa falsa modestia es todo pose, luego en los bolos va de estrellon, ni va a las pruebas, la voz se la prueba el bajista. Marea es el grupo más sobrevalorado de la historia, después de Fermín Muguruza. A Kutxi le ha salido bien, como a Melendi. Pero la mierda será siempre mierda.

Kutxi Romero, líder de Marea, se une a Caldito y a Sor Kampana, para presentar Aleación Expansiva
Kutxi Romero, líder del grupo de rock Marea, Miguel Caldito, compositor y cantante extremeño afincado en Valencia y el poeta Sor Kampana, se únen para presentar un nuevo proyecto llamado Aleación Expansiva, en el que aunan la música y la poesia entre otras artes.
En una gira de presentación que pasará por las principales ciudades y que se iniciará a finales de Febrero, Aleación se mostrará en su totalidad en escena, siendo la parte musical escenificada por el mismo Sor Kampana por Oromatón, Caldito, Kutxi Romero y Carne de cañón, reproduciendo en vivo gran parte del repertorio incluido en el CD del mismo nombre. Al mismo tiempo se llevarán a cabo intervenciones pictóricas a tiempo real junto a una exposición o muestra virtual de pintura y escultura que presentará todas las obras incluidas en el proyecto.
Las primeras fechas que a día de hoy hay cerradas de la gira de Aleación Expansiva son: Madrid – el 26 de Febrero en la Sala Caracol –, Valencia – el 28 de Febrero en la Sala El Loco – y Toledo – el 6 de Marzo en el Círculo del Arte –.
Este novedoso proyecto, nunca antes realizado, y que cuenta con artistas de lo más dispar que han unido sus voces y su talento, promete no dejar indiferente a un público que es parte principal y activa del espectáculo.

Редко увидишь классную тему для WP. Попадаются достаточно классные, но очень неудобные в настройках. Устанавливал из последних переведенные шаблоны My Office, Press 88, Crackatoa ставил еще Heatmap - простая, но сделанная под adsense. Не очень часто найдется что-то симпатичное, несложное и удобное одновременно.

Im sorry for the possible off-topic Guys, but could you inform me which web hosting company you are using right now I have a problem because my current web hosting company hostrator.com is kicking me off. They say that our website is using too many server resources. But our website only gets 100 visitors per day. Anyway, what would be your recommendations? Are you happy with your web hosting company? I am checking LCN at the moment, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space? I have contacted them and they say something like 2000gb disk drive costs only $10 per month, so if some day we will start running out of disk space we will simply add a new 2000gb drive so can continue uploading.. Whats your opinion? Any ideas and web host name suggestions are much appreciated.
